Hello everyone! 😎 We’re a bit late this month, sorry! We’ve been reaaally busy with our boring full time jobs these past few weeks, and the fact it’s already the end of June kind of went over our heads 😅 Hehe. Happy July to everyone, by the way!🌞

We’ve barely had time to work on TYL lately (a fact that will definitely change on July, thankfully 🙏), but we’ve managed to make a few modifications to the game that were requested by two of our Discord members! 🥳 So, in the version of the game that everyone will be able to download on July 7th (Version 1.2.3), you can now:

🔜 See a percentage inside each bar of the Affinity Tracker (in the Stats screen) next to the name of every character. This way, it will be easier to see the effect of your choices on your relationship with all of them! 🫂

🔜 Delete saves! A new button will appear right next to every save/load slot 🗑️ We hope this helps you keep the Save and Load screens much more organized!

🔜 We already announced this, but just to make sure anyone that missed that specific devlog also knows about it: You can now change the speed at which the chat messages appear! 💃 Just head to the Settings screens, and adjust the “Chat messages speed” bar to your liking!

Just one week to the public update! So exciting! 🥹 We get so nervous every time there’s an update, hehe. We can’t help it. We really want to know what you think about the new content after so much work!

But apart from the public update on July 7th, what’s next? 🤔 Let’s talk about Chapter 3! Unlike Chapter 2, that was divided in three different days, the next chapter will only tell the story on one day in-game. That means, next time the game is updated, you’ll be able to read Chapter 3 in one go! 🙃 We are so excited to start working on it, because chapter 3 will be full of… drama (yes, even more drama 🫣). We won’t say anything too spoilery (you haven’t even read the final update of Chapter 2, after all), but something… unexpected involving one of the LI will happen in that chapter. Awww, it’s such a shame we can’t share more about it! 🤭

So, starting today, we’ll keep working on Chapter 3’s outline (we had a previous rough outline that we need to polish and rewrite in some places) and, as soon as we are done with that, we’ll start writing the actual script! We’ll tell you more about our progress on our next monthly devlog! 😊

¡Hola, holaaa! 😎 Publicamos el devlog un poco más tarde de lo habitual esta vez, ¡lo sentimos! Hemos estado reaaaalmente ocupadas con nuestros aburridos trabajos a jornada completa estas últimas semanas, y la verdad es que el hecho de que ayer fuera el último día de Junio se nos pasó por completo 😅 Jeje. ¡Feliz Julio a todos, por cierto!🌞

Apenas hemos tenido tiempo para trabajar en TYL últimamente (aunque eso va a cambiar en Julio, por suerte 🙏), ¡pero al menos hemos podido hacer algunas modificaciones que nos pidieron algunos miembros de nuestro Discord al juego! 🥳 Así que, en la versión que todos podréis descargar el día 7 de Julio (Versión 1.2.3), ahora podréis:

🔜 Ver un porcentaje dentro de cada una de las barras de afinidad (en la pantalla de “Info”) junto al nombre de cada personaje. ¡Así será más fácil poder ver qué efecto tienen vuestras decisiones en vuestra relación con cada uno de ellos! 🫂

🔜 ¡Borrar partidas guardadas! Un nuevo botón aparecerá junto a cada guardado 🗑️ ¡Esperamos que esto os ayude a mantener las pantallas de guardado y de carga mucho mejor organizadas!

🔜 Esto ya lo anunciamos, pero sólo para asegurarnos de que aquellos que se perdieron ese devlog específico también lo saben: ¡Ahora podéis cambiar la velocidad a la que salen los mensajes de los chats! 💃 Simplemente hay que ir a la pantalla de Ajustes, ¡y ajustar la barra “Velocidad de los mensajes” como prefiráis!

¡Sólo queda una semana para la actualización pública! ¡Qué emoción! 🥹 Nos ponemos súper nerviosas cada vez que hay una actualización, jeje. ¡No podemos evitarlo! ¡Tenemos muchas ganas de saber qué pensáis sobre el nuevo contenido después de estar tanto tiempo trabajando en él!

Pero a parte de la actualización del día 7 de Julio, os estaréis preguntando: ¿qué viene después? 🤔 ¡Así que hablemos sobre el Capítulo 3! A diferencia del Capítulo 2, el cual estaba compuesto por tres días diferentes, el siguiente capítulo tan sólo contendrá un único día de la historia del juego. Eso significa que, la próxima vez que el juego sea actualizado, ¡podréis leer el Capítulo 3 completo, de un tirón! 🙃 Tenemos muchísimas ganas de comenzar a trabajar en él, ya que será un capítulo lleno de… drama (sí, más drama aún 🫣). No queremos hacer mucho spoiler (al fin y al cabo, todavía no habéis podido ni leer el final del Capítulo 2), pero algo… inesperado ocurrirá con uno de los chicos en ese capítulo. Ayyy, ¡qué pena que no podamos decir nada más al respecto! 🤭

Así que, a partir de hoy, continuaremos trabajando en el outline del Capítulo 3 (ya teníamos un borrador general que tenemos que pulir y reescribir en algunas partes) y, tan pronto como terminemos con eso, ¡comenzaremos a escribir el guion final! ¡Os contaremos más sobre nuestro progreso en el próximo devlog mensual! 😊
